I Want My Child to Love to Read!

This is a comprehensive look at how to encourage reading. There will be 3 areas of important information and help for parents:

1. What do you do with your preschooler to insure they will be good readers and love reading?

2. What do you say besides, “Sound it out” to help your early, not yet fluent, readers?

3. What do you do with your fluent reader who doesn’t yet love it?

You will leave with many strategies and know what to do as a parent to encourage one of the most important educational goals. Come, have a rendezvous with READING!

Presenters: Debbie Houston, Sue Musson and Lisa Howie
