Emily Warren
Director of Extended Programs
Emily Warren brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to nurturing young minds, making her an invaluable asset to our progressive education program at Chance. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Louisville and has spent the first decade of her career teaching dance classes to school-age children. This extensive hands-on experience has given Emily the unique ability to connect with children and foster their growth in a creative and engaging manner.
Before joining Virginia Chance School, Emily collaborated with college professors in Georgia, helping them acquire educational materials for their courses. This role enhanced her appreciation for education and underscored the importance of instilling a love for learning from an early age. Her diverse background in both practical teaching and academic support makes her ideally suited to guide our extended programs.
Emily's passion for working with children and her belief in the power of learning through play and hands-on experiences align perfectly with the philosophy of Virginia Chance School. Over her years here, she has overseen and taught hundreds of children, witnessing their blossoming confidence, eagerness to learn, and self-motivation firsthand. Outside of her professional life, Emily enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, walking her dog, dancing, and reading. She is thrilled to continue her journey with the Chance team and looks forward to another year of inspiring and supporting your children.
